UCI E-MTB XC World Championships qualification

WES Top-15 Men and All Women riders from the overall standings have earned coveted quota places for the upcoming UCI E-MTB XC World Championships one-shot race, set to take place on Wednesday, 9th August 2023, in Glasgow, Scotland, UK.

National Federations have the opportunity to enter five additional riders to compete alongside these exceptional riders.

Jérôme Gilloux, born on May 22, 1994, hails from the picturesque city of Nice in the Alpes-Maritimes province of France. As a prominent rider representing Team LaPierre Overvolt has left an indelible mark on the E-MTB XC racing scene with remarkable achievements, After two years as the runner-up in the World Championships, Gilloux was crowned 2021 and 2022 UCI E-MTB XC World Champion, as well as 2021 and 2022 UCI E-MTB XC World Cup Winner.

Nicole Göldi, born on October 24, 2002, calls the charming town of Sennwald in the San Galo province of Switzerland her hometown. Representing Team Trek Bosch has emerged as a remarkable talent in the world of E-MTB XC racing with her extraordinary heights, earning the title of UCI E-MTB XC World Champion in 2021 at her debut in the discipline, and in 2022, and also 2022 UCI E-MTB XC World Cup Winner in her debut year.

With another World Cup Round to be held on July 15-16 in Italy, as the very last chance for riders to get ready for the rainbow jersey battle, after the Worlds, WES will resume on 29-30 August in Belgium with a demanding back-to-back racing in Germany right on September 2-3.
