In 2023, for the first time, the traditional season opener takes place in Breil-sur-Roya with brand-new, exciting racetracks designed on a mountain area overlooking the Monaco Principality Bay with breath-taking views.

Breil-sur-Roya is part of the Historical Sites of the Grimaldi of Monaco in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur. The beautiful commune will be part of the World’s greatest E-Mountain Bike racing, being a spectacular destination for all E-Mountain bikers, offering a highly promising experience for both pro-riders and amateurs.

Bologna is a world-famous cultural city with a deep history and a tradition in cycling as a way of life. This is the reason why the metropolitan city has always supported sustainable mobility and e-sports. 

Once again, the commune of Monghidoro, in the Touristic Territory of Bologna-Modena confirms its commitment to E-Mountain Biking as a sustainable sport and the perfect tourism model to explore its amazing mountain chain.

Spa-Francorchamps

Spa-Francorchamps is located in the magnificent region of the Ardennes, in Belgium, in a natural, breathtaking, verdant setting. The Circuit woods are a distinguishing feature of the track, which is one of the most legendary in motorsports. 

 A mix of tradition and innovation, as the Belgian venue is open to new disciplines and technologies and is hosting WES UCI E-MTB XC World Cup for the first time in 2022.

Bielstein

Bielstein is situated in the idyllic natural surroundings of the Bergisches Land region, about 40 km east of Cologne.

Several marked hiking trails departing from the village and offering impressive views, make it a popular destination amongst e-bikers, runners and nature lovers.

A permanent E-MTB cross-country course will remain accessible for E-MTB and traditional mountain biking after the WES event. This is the mark we love to leave!


The Sea Otter Europe, in Girona, Spain, is one of the biggest bike shows in Europe and part of the top world cycling events, hosting again a WES UCI E-MTB XC World Cup round. Races are normally held at the Costa Brava venue on Friday and Saturday and this venue set the WES tradition to race clockwise and anti-clockwise in Race 1 and Race 2, respectively.

The Catalan venue is one of the most popular and beloved among the national and international wildcards, as it celebrates cycling withing a wider event which is a can’t miss for  bike and motor manufacturers.

The beautiful Circuit de Charade is located on the Châine des Puys in Southern France, in an exceptional natural environment, part of the UNESCO World Heritage. WES series is part of the transition to green mobility and electric sports underway at the French track. 

Charade is one of the most appreciated racecourses amongst WES permanent riders in one of the greenest spots in France, and the near city of Clermont-Ferrand also features a small airport.

Barcelona

Barcelona is hosting WES Season Finale again, for the riders’ delight! The UCI E-MTB XC World Cup event is followed by the awaited end-season prize-giving ceremony, where all the protagonists will be awarded.

The event traditionally features a one-shot race where the winning candidates have to give it all having one single chance.
