Wiedenroth and Tabacchi are the 2025 World Cup Winners

Massa Marittima (Italy), Saturday 11 October 2025 – The WES UCI E-XC World Cup wrapped up spectacularly in Massa Marittima with the Massa Marittima Trail Area final Round. Perfect weather and an incredible crowd set the stage for an unforgettable finale.

37 riders from all across Europe took to the track, kicking off the day with the morning Qualirace. Swiss Kathrin Stirnemann (Thömus) and Italian Andrea Garibbo (Haibike) set the pace, earning the Pole Position.

As the race got underway, the field launched into a 9-lap showdown. Stirnemann once again stood out, grabbing the Santero Holeshot alongside Frenchman Théo Charmes (Teewing Factory Team).

The Final Showdown

The Swiss led from the very first lap and never relinquished her position. Reigning World Champion Anna Spielmann (Haibike) followed in second, while Sofia Wiedenroth (Specialized) crossed the line in third, taking her first-ever World Cup title after 6 editions.

In the men’s race, Joris Ryf (Specialized) made his move early, taking the lead and holding it until the finish to secure the final win of the season. Adrián Cuellar Alonso (Bafang Factory Artesana) continued his strong form with another podium in second place, followed by Italian Reigning National Champ Mirko Tabacchi (Thok Askoll) in third, who fought back impressively to take the crown and win the World Cup title.

Meanwhile, the final Magneti Marelli Checkstar Power Lap Award of the year went to the Swiss duo, Stirnemann and Ryf.
