Qualifying started 15 minutes later than usual due to strong winds that threatened to affect the race day. Despite the conditions, the session ran smoothly, with Swiss Kathrin Stirnemann (Thömus) taking the second Pole Position of the weekend and her overall third one.
Alongside, Spanish Adrián Cuellar Alonso (Bafang Factory Artesana) set his second-best qualifying result in WES after 2024 Monaco Alpes-Maritimes Round Race 1.

With the wind still blowing, the race went underway, and Specialized riders, German Sofia Wiedenroth and Swiss Joris Ryf, grabbed the penultimate Santero Holeshot of the season.

Behind him, Cuellar Alonso shifted from chasing victory to defending his podium spot as Mirko Tabacchi (Thok Askoll) launched a strong pursuit. The Italian Champion managed to overtake him briefly, but the Spaniard fought back to reclaim second place.
While Tabacchi lost some momentum, Frenchman Théo Charmes (Teewing Factory Team) took the final spot on the podium.
