WES set to conquer Sardinia with the Olbia Round

World Champs and returning stars ready for action in Sardinia’s first-ever World Cup event

Monaco (P.ty), Thursday 25 September 2025 – For the first time in 7 years, WES UCI E-MTB XC World Cup heads to the island of Sardinia, in Italy, with the Olbia Round on October 4-5, presented by the Autonomous Region of Sardinia and the City of Olbia.

The action unfolds in Monte Pino (GPS: 40°56’22.4″N 9°24’37.3″E), a mountain area overlooking one of the most amazing gulfs of the entire country, surrounded by sweeping views, Mediterranean vegetation, and technical trails, normally hosting DH races, that are a true playground for E-MTB racing.

The much-awaited weekend will witness a double race that could prove decisive before the grand finale scheduled for the week after. After high-intensity battles along the WES season and the recent UCI World Championships in Switzerland, the series is back on track with both men’s and women’s World Cup standings still wide open.
