Set against the backdrop of Cheile Grădiștei’s resort, riders were challenged by a technically demanding course, with completely different features from Day 1, as it was ridden in the opposite direction. Anna Spielmann (Haibike) claimed her second Pole Position, with Théo Charmes (Teewing Factory Team) matching the feat in the Men’s, on a sunny and perfect day for e-bike racing.

Time to race

Once the race began, Lukas Dennda (Bergstrom Factory Racing) once again showed his explosive start, securing the second straight Santero Holeshot. Sofia Wiedenroth (Specialized) matched his pace, joining him as the fastest into the first turn.

Racers were challenged by a technically demanding gravity course that combined steep climbs and fast descents.

Anna Spielmann delivered a steady performance from start to finish, holding on to the lead ahead of Wiedenroth. Giulia Bertoni (Teewing Factory Team) impressed anew, securing another podium and remaining in the top three throughout her debut weekend.

Catalan Adrián Cuellar Alonso (Bafang Factory Artesana), who demonstrated his potential last season, impressed once more by moving up from fourth to claim second place within just three laps.

Race 1 Winner Mirko Tabacchi (Thok Askoll) aimed to deliver the same strong performance on two days in a row, but had to settle for a third place.
